Hello everyone, I just wanted to take a minute to share a quick
and fun birthday card I created for my cousin’s birthday. Her birthday is next Sunday
so, I am hoping to drop it off in the mail box tonight so it will be picked up
tomorrow first thing tomorrow morning.
I
have had this card cut out and sitting on my craft for a week now, so I am glad
that I finally got it put together! I think that it just might make it to her
on time…lol :)
This card was cut from the Something to Celebrate Cricut
cartridge. It was cut out at 4 ½ so it will be able to fit into a standard A2
sized envelope.
Around the gift and
ribbon I inked them up on the edges with some distress ink, and then I embossed
the gift with the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug embossing folder.
For the flowers I used my Gypsy to close the circle in the middle
of the flower so I could then add a cute little pearl. I then added some
glitter to the pink part of the flower to add some shimmer to the card!!!
For the inside of the card I cut out the present one more time
on white card stock and just used my paper trimmer to cut off the flowers, so I
would be left with a square that would fit the shape of the present. I used a
Scrappy mom’s stamp form their Everyday Greetings stamp set for the sentiment.
I hope that everyone is having a great day! :)
As I was writing this post I was watching a beautiful sunset
from my living room window. Wasn’t it just gorgeous tonight?
